PAYMENT SCHEDULE
Bedroom reservations: The 50% deposit is made via payment link to confirm the reservation. Our reservations coordinator will send you the link via email. The 50% balance will be paid at the time of check-in at the hotel.
Full house rental: The 50% deposit is made via wire transfer upon booking, and the 50% balance will be paid 30 days before check in. You will receive an email with all the instructions from our Sales Director.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Bedroom reservations: Cancellations incur a 50% penalty anytime after booking (the deposit is non-refundable) and no-shows incur a 100% penalty.
Full house rentals: The 50% deposit is non-refundable. There is no refund of the balance payment for cancellations made within 30 days prior to check in. The reservation can be canceled up to 30 days prior to the check in date.
High Season & New Year's Eve: Cancellations are allowed up to 30 days prior to the arrival date. Cancellations made within 30 days are not eligible for a refund.
REFUNDS
Refunds are processed via the same method of payment as it was initially received by Alba Hotels. Please note that depending on the bank and country, refunds can take up to 15 business days to be reflected in the client’s bank account. Refunds can be requested up to 30 days after the notice of cancellation, after which Alba Hotels is no longer responsible for emitting a refund.
BREAKFAST
Hotel Boutique reservations include breakfast. Private villa reservations do not include breakfast and can be requested at an additional cost.
GENERAL HOUSE RULES:
Guests need to be registered upon booking
Guests that are not registered upon booking are not allowed
Pets may be allowed upon request
Smoking is not allowed in closed areas. It is allowed on the rooftop and balconies
Parking is not allowed in the Old City
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability
Drugs are not allowed inside the property
GUEST OBLIGATIONS
- To allocate the property for tourist use by virtue of decree 2590 of 2009. Not to use the property for illicit activities (drug trafficking, prostitution, exploitation and child prostitution, pornography, drug addiction), nor commercial activities, parties, events, or the development of activities that violate morals and good customs, or that violate the property rules commonly accepted in urban housing.
- Not to engage in conduct that disturbs neighbors in the use and enjoyment of their own property.
- Not to prepare, sell or use prohibited substances (cocaine, heroin, among others).
- No smoking tobacco or marijuana in enclosed spaces.
- Do not bring gunpowder, firearms or any other element that may generate risk of accident, explosion or damage to the building and the people who occupy it.
- Any visitor must be registered 24 hours prior to accessing the property, with identification, and is subject to approval by the OWNER. No random visitors are allowed. Any guest staying at the property must provide identification prior to check in. Minors are not allowed on the premises when they are not registered at the hotel and come with their parents or responsible adults or have a family member to verify it.
- The facilities may not be used for inducement to prostitution, pimping of a minor, coercion to prostitution, encouragement to prostitution of minors and/or pornography with minors; whoever does so will incur in the penalties of imprisonment stated by the Colombian Penal Code.
- Nudity is not permitted in the common areas of the property.
- Hotels Alba Group does not allow prostitution, nor sex tourism and the sexual exploitation and abuse of children or adolescents.
PETS: Pets may be allowed upon request. No pets may be brought into the property without prior authorization from the OWNER.
DAMAGES: The HOTEL shall charge the guests for the value of the material damages caused to their property or facilities due to fraud or negligence, charging the commercial value for the damages caused to the guest responsible for the room at the time of check-out or when leaving the hotel. Likewise, the guest shall be jointly and severally liable for the payment of any damages that may be caused, if the guest does not pay them at the time of check-out from the Hotel
MINORS OF AGE
Minors must always be accompanied by an adult or family member, in development of the provisions of Article 1 7 of Law 679 of 2001 , the tourist is warned that the exploitation and sexual abuse of minors in the country are punishable by criminal and administrative sanctions, according to Colombian law.All minors must present a valid identification document to check in at the hotel(the documents accepted by the hotel may vary in each case, but US identity cards, passport and civil registry are accepted).
POOL AND JACUZZI:
During the use of the pool or jacuzzi it is stated that:
- Diving is not allowed
- Pets are not allowed in the water
- No urinating in the poo
- No glass containers or bottles inside the pool.
- No food may be consumed in the pool.
- It is recommended not to push or play violently in the pool.
PERSONAL OBJECTS: Alba Group is not responsible for material objects left or forgotten in common areas, outside the rooms and much less outside the property facilities.
SECURITY CAMERAS The facilities are monitored by security cameras in the common areas, with the intention of taking care of your safety at all times (law 1581 of 2012, law of treatment and protection of data).
TAXES: The GUEST shall be responsible for the value of all taxes generated by virtue of the contract in accordance with the QUOTATION and the hotel is not legally responsible for it
By completing this booking I accept the terms and conditions of this hotel accommodation agreement, and agree to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the company. I acknowledge that I have received and reviewed the quote provided by the hotel, agree to pay the full amount as quoted, and agree to the cancellation policy. I hereby swear not to initiate any chargeback or refund request with my bank or credit card company, as doing so would constitute fraud. The hotel reserves the right to take legal action against any guest who initiates a chargeback or refund request.
